<div class="wpfaqcontent">
<div class="wpfaqcontenti">
<div class="one-third">
<p>Modern publishing spans from paper to screen, from long tail backlist to topical front list, from hyperlocal niches to global audiences. It is a marketplace as diverse and ungraspable as the product on it. Metadata is defined as information about the content you publish. Traditionally this is restricted to catalouging data such as ISBN, title and author etc.</p></div>
<div class="one-third">
<p>This is no longer true. Today metadata can be found anywhere and be generated by anyone. Metadata is no longer used to rationally archive books, instead it is a meme that supersedes your book like a spreading rumor.At Publit we are convinced that the key to successfully put your book on the market you will have to set up strategies to harness and help propagate this metadata. It might be created by you, but might as well be created by a third person. </p></div>
<div class="one-third last">
<p>In a world with rapidly growing accessibility to ever more content, across manifestations and platforms, and the possibility to interact freely with metadata, searchability is no longer the main issue, discoverability is.Publits aim is to create tools that let publishers find, create and manage metadata and present it in novel way. In order to attract the audiences attention, metadata must be seen as, and presented as teasers rather than dry data.</p></div>
